Bio Oil Review – for Scars, Stretch Marks, Uneven Skin tone, Ageing & Dehydrated skin

How to use:

Apply twice daily on the affected areas (scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin, dehydrated skin) for a minimum of 3 months. During pregnancy, apply twice daily from the start of second trimester to areas that are prone to stretch marks such as the abdomen, breast, lower back, buttocks, hips and thighs.

My experience with Bio-Oil:

Bio oil comes in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a white screw type cap over it. Since the bottle is small, it is travel friendly. The oil will easily last up to 3 to 4 months, which makes this product very economical. Though the oil looks like it has a touch of peach color but turns transparent when it comes out of the bottle. It has mild herbal fragrance like baby products.

The application is very easy, just take few drops of this oil and apply it on the affected areas. Massage it for few minutes with your fingertips. The oil is very light weight and gets absorbed easily without making your skin greasy.

Since I’ve been using this oil for about 2 months now, my skin looks even toned and feels soft. Though i have oily skin, but during winters my skin tends to get little dry. I use this oil twice daily on my skin, once after shower to moisturize and once before going to bed. I take a small amount in my palms and rub it all over my face, arms and legs evenly. My skin absorbs this oil immediately leaving a mild shine.

How useful it is ?

I could see my dark spots fading away and improved elasticity. This oil starts working immediately and you’ll see noticeable results within a week. It’s a boon for those who have dry and dehydrated skin. Oily skin can also use this oil, but if you have active pimples or breakouts, i would suggest you stay away from this product since it is not non-comedogenic.

So it’s been 2 months and i’m in love with this oil, half the bottle is already used up. Overall, i would say make this oil a part of your must have list.

Final thought: You should definitely try this oil to improve your skin’s elasticity, correct uneven skin tone and to reverse dry ageing skin. Since i don’t have stretch marks or scars, so i’m not sure how effectively will it work to treat them. This oil is a true blessing for dry and dehydrated skin.
