Soundarya Sharma has now become a household name after her current stint in the Bigg boss 16 show. She can rock all her looks effortlessly and flawlessly. But what’s the secret of her gorgeous skin? Let’s know it from herself. She is not a fan of chemical-based treatments or facial creams and has never had a salon facial ever in her life. She relies on ancient and traditional remedies for her beauty treatments. 

1. Papaya Face Mask for Glowing Skin

What you need:

  • Papaya Slice
  • Grated Cucumber – 2 teaspoons
  • Besan (gram flour) – 1 tablespoon

How to make and use:

  • Just mash half a slice of the papaya slice and add 2 teaspoons of grated cucumber to it. Add 1 tablespoon of gram flour to the fruit mask and mix it well. 
  • Apply this rich fruit mask all over your face, neck, and body. Leave it on for a good 15 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. 
  • Use it 2 to 3 times a week to get glowing skin and reverse the effect of excessive sun exposure. 

2. Pumpkin and Tomato Face Pack to remove Skin Tanning

What you need:

  • A slice of pumpkin
  • Tomato juice – 3 teaspoon

How to make and use:

  • Mash a slice of pumpkin and mix it with 3 teaspoons of tomato juice. Apply this pumpkin paste all over your face and neck.
  • Rinse off with cool water, Pumpkin soothes and cools the skin while tomato juice helps to reduce dark spots and skin tanning. 

3. Glow Drinks

For Morning Drink 

  • Make a juice of amla, beetroot, and cilantro. Drink 1 glass of amla beetroot juice every morning as it acts as a strong shield against infection and allergies. 
  • This juice is also good for skin collagen and elasticity. Beets are loaded with numerous minerals and aid digestion.

Noon drink

  • A glass of pomegranate juice for its anti-aging benefits. Pomegranate juice improves the texture of the skin and is believed to be beneficial for the production of collagen.
  • Besides these drinks, she also drinks 5 liters of water daily to keep her body and skin hydrated. Adequate water in the body keeps your skin soft and elasticity intact. 

4. Diet:

  • Soundarya Sharma is not a fan of fad diets. She believes in a wholesome and very nutritious diet. 
  • Avoid all processed foods and processed carbohydrates from your diet. But she never skips roti as it is included in unprocessed carbs and necessary for the body. 
  • Her ayurvedic diet includes adding 1 tablespoon of ghee to a bowl of dal and ragi roti since it’s very good for joints and muscles. 
  • She is not a fan of gluten-free diets either as it encourages people to remove the entire food group from their diets.

5. Extra Tips:

  • This diva uses Extra virgin coconut oil on her skin daily to keep it moisturized and soft. She even uses it before applying makeup. It makes her skin look dewy and adds natural shine.
  • She also insists on staying happy always as happiness is key to gorgeous skin from within.
