1. Licorice Toner for Acne

You will need:

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Licorice powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Tea tree oil

How to make and use:

  • Mix 1 teaspoon of licorice powder (also known as mulethi powder) in a cup of plain water. Add few drops of tea tree oil to it. Mix it well
  • Apply the licorice solution onto your face using a cotton pad.
  • For easy use, store it in a spray bottle and spray it twice daily on your skin.
  • It may last up to 1 month.
  • This toner gently exfoliates your skin and is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin.

2. Aloe vera Toner for Skin Hydrating

You will need:

  • Rose Water – 1 cup
  • Aloe vera Gel (market-based) – 1 tablespoon

How to make and use:

  • Dilute 1 tablespoon of the gel with 1 cup of Rosewater or cool water.
  • Either apply a solution directly on your face with a cotton pad or you can use it as a face mist by transferring it to a spray bottle.
  • This solution keeps your skin moisturized, refreshed and helps maintain a constant glow.

3. Turmeric toner for Skin Brightening

You will need:

  • Plain Water – 1 cup
  • Turmeric – ½ teaspoon
  • Green tea leaves – 1 teaspoon

How to make and use:

  • The first step is to brew a cup of green tea and let it cool down.
  • Next, add turmeric to the tea and mix it well.
  • Use this toner daily to reduce dark spots and for skin brightening.

4. Mint leaves Skin Toner for Large Pores

You will need:

  • 1 cup of water
  • A handful of mint leaves

How to make and use:

  • Boil a cup of water and add mint leaves to it.
  • Turn off the flame and cover it with a lid while the leaves are still in.
  • Let the leaves steep in and impart its benefits and goodness to the water.
  • After it is cooled, strain the mint water, and store it in a spray bottle.
  • Spray mint mist 2-3 times on your face daily.
  • It regulates sebum production on the face thereby reducing large pores.
  • The mint toner also cleanses all the residue from your face, reduces shine, and keeps the face looking clean and fresh.
