Ingredients: Aloevera gel, Calamine, Light liquid paraffin, Moisturising Lotion Base Containing Dimethicone And Hydrogenated Polydecene. Other ingredients – Purified water, Anhydrous lanolin, Lanolin, Stearic acid, Sorbitol, Propylene glycol, Cetyl alcohol, Triethanolamided, Dimethicone, Perfume, Methyl paraben, Disodium EDTA, Propyl paraben.
My Experience with Dermadew Caloe Lotion:
The packaging of this lotion is quite simple, the tube comes in a medium size pink and white carton with an instruction manual in it. Dermadew caloe lotion comes in a regular plastic tube, which is transparent in color with a blue, red and black color inscription on it. Being an almost transparent tube, you can see how much lotion is left inside. It has a screw type wide sturdy cap over it which closes securely, hence lessening the risk of lotion spilling out.
The lotion comes in a light pink color and has a little runny smooth texture like liquid foundation. Though the texture is little runny but still thicker than most of the lotions that i have used and spreads easily when applied on the skin. It has a calamine kind of fragrance which last for little longer than usual.
How i use Dermadew Caloe Lotion ?
After taking shower, i combine my moisturizer with this lotion and apply it on my face, neck and upper arms evenly. As i mentioned earlier, the lotion is little runny, but at a same time it is soft and creamy which spreads easily and gets absorbed into your skin. It has a little pinkish tint which gives a coverage like foundation. The fragrance is little too strong for me, but now i am used to it. This could be a setback for those who are intolerant of strong fragrance. I use this lotion twice in a day, once in the morning after shower and once before going to bed. During night time i apply it on my face and back as well and leave it on overnight. It keeps my skin soft and moisturized.
This lotion is best for dry acne prone skin especially those who suffer from back acne. Though i have oily skin with mild acne here and there, i still prefer to use this lotion as it doesn’t make my skin greasy and gives somewhat matte finish look with little sheen. I have seen a considerable reduction in my acne by using it regularly. Apart from reducing acne, this lotion also improves the elasticity of the skin.
Final thought: I think it’s a very good lotion and a true bliss for dry acne prone skin. It takes a good care of your dry skin while working effectively on your acne, and the natural foundation like coverage will make you fall in love with it. So, do i recommend it?
