1. Aloe vera Gel

You will need:
- Aloe vera gel
Method:
- Just apply aloe vera gel to the affected area, 2- times a day until the infection is gone.
- Use aloe vera gel daily to soothe and cool down the burning sensation and itchy skin.
2. Turmeric
Turmeric is a widely known kitchen and medicinal spice with anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.
You will need:
- Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
- Water
Method:
- Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric in a cup of water and mix it well.
- While you take shower, clean the infected area with this turmeric water. Later, rinse off with plain water.
- Repeat this turmeric rinse daily when you take shower.
- The anti-microbial property of turmeric helps to reduce the activity of several types of fungus.
3. Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has anti-fungal nature that can help to treat and calm down fungal infection.

- Organic coconut oil – 1 -2 teaspoons

- Apply coconut oil on the infected area and leave it on to dry on its own.
- Use it 2-3 times daily to get rid of skin irritation and infection.
4. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is fungistatic. It is effective in eliminating a wide range of fungi, due to its antifungal properties.
You will need:
- Apple cider vinegar – 1 teaspoon
- Water
Method:
- Dilute 1 teaspoon of ACV in a cup of water.
- Clean the infected area with diluted apple cider vinegar water. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes, rinse off with plain water.
- Repeat this daily.
5. Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil exerts anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that help you deal with fungal infections.
You will need:
- Tea tree oil – few drops
- Coconut oil – 2 teaspoons
Method:
- Mix 2 teaspoons of coconut oil with few drops of tea tree oil.
- Apply this oil to the affected area and leave it on to dry by itself.
- Use it daily as it cools down the irritation caused by an itchy infection.
6. Neem Leaves
Neem leaves are highly medicinal and are used to treat a number of infections and diseases like chickenpox, smallpox, fungal infections, etc. since ancient times. The exhibit antifungal properties that help get rid of fungal infections.
You will need:
- A handful of neem leaves
- Water
Method:
- Take a pan, pour water, add neem leaves, and bring the water to a boil.

- Alternatively, you can add neem water to your bathing water and take shower.

- Grated ginger – 1 teaspoon
- Water- 1 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon (optional)
Method:
- Add 1 teaspoon of grated ginger to a cup of water and bring it to a boil.
- Strain the tea and add lemon juice. (You can add honey as well to sweeten the tea)
- Drink 1 cup of ginger tea daily to build immunity and preventing the formation of fungi in your body.
