1. Bride’s Mom Eloped with Groom’s Dad
A few years ago, the bride’s mom eloped with the groom’s dad, twice. We are not even joking! It was reported that the bride’s mom and groom’s dad were a couple in their young days and reconnected via their respective son & daughter’s wedding. Both used to be neighbors a long time back. Their children were disappointed, and the wedding was called off.
2. Groom’s mother finds out the bride is her long-lost daughter on the wedding day
In a damn bizarre turn of events, a groom’s mother in china found out that her son’s bride-to-be was her own biological daughter whom she lost 2 decades ago. The groom’s mother noticed the birthmark on the brides’ hand similar to her long-lost daughter. The bride’s family was in shock as her adoption was a well-guarded secret. But now the bride was in a dilemma as this meant she’s getting married to her elder brother. Wait! The twists are not over yet. The groom’s mother revealed her son was adopted. It means both the bride and groom were not biological siblings. They were happily married and for the mother, her son becomes her son in law and the bride becomes her daughter.
3. Photographer deleted couples’ wedding photos in front of them.
In a shocking instance, a groom requested his photographer friend to click his wedding photos for a minimal charge. The photographer friend kept clicking pictures for a whole 10-hour event, for which he charged $250. But when he was denied 20 minutes break for food or water, the angry photographer friend deleted all the photos from his camera in front of the groom and left the wedding event.

4. Bride cancels wedding after the groom fails ‘math test
It was December 2015, the bride decided to test her groom with mathematical questions. When he failed to count beyond 9, the bride called off the wedding. It was then disclosed that the groom was illiterate and mentally unfit which was kept as a secret. She caught the lie when the groom couldn’t recite the wedding mantras. In a further examination, it was found that he couldn’t dial her mobile number and failed to tell a difference between 69 and 79. The bride eventually called off the marriage.
One more similar incident took place in May 2021, where the bride called off the wedding when the groom failed to recite a simple table of 2.
5. Husband cancels Marriage after he sees his wife without makeup
This incident occurs right after their wedding. The next day when the couple went swimming, his wife’s makeup washed off and he saw her features changed. The husband decided she didn’t look pretty and attractive without makeup. The husband filed for divorce accusing her of deceiving him with false eyelashes and lots of makeup.
